Hey friends, I'm going to keep this short and sweet for you.  If you don’t know, my name is Lexi Petersen. I'm just a girl from the rainy city of Seattle trying to find my way abroad while hooping for a living.

It’s been a long time coming for me starting this blog. Something about putting your thoughts and opinions on the internet can be daunting, especially because I would like to be up front and transparent about my experiences. So, don't go too hard on me :)

I graduated from the University of Oregon where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Master’s in Journalism and played basketball for five years. Currently, I’m on my second season playing in Rekjavik, Iceland after playing my rookie season in Athens, Greece. Come join me on my journey through life in my "23’s” having an occasional Jordan moment and all the ins, outs, and misadventures that take place off the court. 

 

America is a great place, but this is MY life experiencing other cultures for now. Hope you enjoy!
